What It Does

Faster print starts
The redesigned heatbed mounting removes the separate "Absorbing heat" wait for any material using bed temperatures up to 85 °C — that covers PLA, PETG and most everyday printing. Higher-temperature materials benefit from a shorter wait as well.

Smoother-looking surfaces
New GT1.5 belts make unwanted repeating patterns finer and harder to notice, especially on large, smooth surfaces where even subtle artifacts stand out.

Cleaner print starts
The integrated nozzle wiper cleans filament from the nozzle before printing, keeping loose strands and small blobs away from the print surface.

About the Gen 2 top cover. A brand-new CORE One+ (Gen 2) also ships with the easier-to-remove top cover shared with the CORE One L. That cover is not part of this kit — it does not affect how the machine performs, and including it would add significantly to shipping cost. It will be available separately as a spare part.
Firmware improvements developed over the CORE One lifespan are free updates for every CORE One — no purchase required.
