3D printers for defense work, in an NDAA-compliant configuration
Prusa USA assembles and supports Original Prusa CORE One L and XL printers in a Critical Infrastructure configuration that runs offline, has no cloud dependency, and ships with a documented US supply chain — assembled in Wilmington, Delaware, and supported by our own team.
Orders are reviewed by our sales team within 1 business day for tax exemption, PO and net terms.

Applications
What these machines get used for on site
Four jobs that come up on a defense site: replacement parts, fixtures and tooling, training aids, and prototyping that never leaves your network.
Replacement parts on site
Print the low-cost plastic parts that hold up a repair — clips, housings, knobs, cable guides — instead of waiting on a long-lead order for a discontinued item.
Fixtures and tooling
Jigs, drill guides, soft jaws, alignment and inspection fixtures for the maintenance bay. Design in the morning, use it the same week.
Training aids
Cutaways, handling mock-ups and practice components for classroom and hands-on instruction, at a cost that lets you replace what gets broken.
Prototyping on a closed network
Iterate on controlled geometry without sending files to a vendor or a cloud slicer. The printer never needs an internet connection to run a job.
Procurement
Micro-purchase Threshold
The federal micro-purchase threshold is $15,000. Both Critical Infrastructure Edition printers sit well under it, so a single machine — or a small group of them — can be bought on a purchase card without a full acquisition cycle.

Worked example
Figures read the live product price. Starting prices are exact; worked-example totals are rounded up. Your quote carries the exact configured price. Shipping and any applicable tax are added at checkout; ask us to remove tax before you place the order if your agency is exempt.
How card purchases work here
Buying by card is a normal purchase and ships like any other order. If you need a quote, a purchase order, net terms or a tax exemption applied first, use the Purchasing Portal and our team sends you an invoice within 1 business day.
Model names
Which CORE One?
The original CORE One from 2025 is discontinued; the "+" models are the Gen 2 refresh that replaced it. "L" is the larger platform, not a different printer family. "Critical Infrastructure Edition" is the NDAA-compliant configuration of the L and the XL — same machines, different electronics package and supply-chain documentation. If a search result shows you a name that is not in this table, it is an older listing.
