About Prusa Research

Fourteen years ago, Josef Prusa started building 3D printers. Today, our team is 1,200 people strong. In 2022, we acquired Printed Solid, a long-time distributor and trusted partner in the American 3D printing community, to serve as our official US headquarters in Delaware.

We build reliable, no-nonsense workhorses. We know they are reliable because we run hundreds of them 24/7 in our own print farm to manufacture parts.

As a European-American company, we are bringing our production straight to the US. By building our hardware in Delaware, we provide a true alternative to overseas supply chains, complete with faster shipping and expert local support.

We are manufacturing Prusament right here in Delaware. We brought over our custom extrusion lines to guarantee the exact same ±0.02 mm precision and perfect spooling you expect, just without the overseas shipping times.

We are actively manufacturing the Original Prusa MK4S and the Prusa CORE One+ right here on American soil. Every printer that comes off the Delaware line is calibrated, tested, and held to the exact same rigorous standards as our Prague HQ.
