With a wear resistance that is orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle, ObXidian is really hard. Several orders of magnitude harder than Nozzle X and indeed any other generic hardened steel nozzle. This is achieved by pairing a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the Nozzle itself. Meaning considerably less plastic build up around the Nozzle.

Please note:

- We do not recommend the use of abrasive materials with nozzle diameters smaller than 0.4mm.

Key features:

- Material: Copper/Hardened Steel Assembly with E3DLC™ coating.

- Input diameter: 1.75mm

- Maximum temperature: 300°C

Printed solid filament is perfect

My team been using printed solid Jessie PLA in about 15 Printer 20hours + a day for the past few weeks. We have been printing Face Shields for Covid Workers. No one has had a problem with the filament once it is dialed in. We have a range of printers from Enders, Taz’s, Raise3D, Afinia, Prusa, and a few others. I was a fan before all of this, but now I’m completely sold on their PLA. I also like the fact that this is a “Made in the USA” item.
