How the match is made
Every Jessie color was read off a printed swatch, not a product photo. Prusament values come from Prusa Research's own color table.
How it's measured
Jessie PLA, PETG and Elixir were scanned with a Nix Spectro 2 (M2, D50) in August 2026, giving Lab, sRGB, Pantone and RAL references for all 57 colors. Prusament uses the hex values Prusa Research publishes for HueForge.
How it's ranked
Colors are compared in CIELAB using the ΔE2000 formula and shown as a percentage (100 minus ΔE). Above 98% is hard to tell apart by eye; above 95% reads as the same color across a room.
Differences in color
Your monitor is not calibrated and filament is glossy, so treat the swatch as a guide. Silk, glitter and translucent spools shift with light and layer height, and a printed part reads slightly darker than the raw filament.
Pantone matching
The Formula Guide solid coated and uncoated books are covered, plus pastels, neons and metallics. Color Bridge (P) codes resolve where Jessie has a measured match. Pantone values on screen are approximations; the physical swatch book is the reference.
