Why Jessie Premium PLA?
Jessie is Printed Solid’s own exclusive filament line. Higher quality, easy prints, and a continued dedication to the community. Named after David Randolph’s dog.
Made in the USA
Our filament is made in Delaware, USA. Our pellets are sourced from Nebraska. Our Colors are manufactured in Illinois. Our spools are manufactured in Indiana. Unlike other brands that just respool foreign-made filaments and call it American-made. We make a truly end to end filament in the USA.
We keep environmental impact as low as possible with cardboard spools and a low loss extrusion process to minimize waste.
Jessie is a constantly evolving extrusion line with new colors and materials planned. We also are working on better spooling, even tighter tolerances and adding in more and more quality control over the industry standards.
At 35+ colors and counting, our pure color catalog is constantly expanding. Our pure colors are never dulled down with fillers, so your prints will be radiant and just the right tone, every time.

Loved the color not the smell and had some extruder slipping
This is my first printed solid order... I was impressed with the color i ordered 4 other colors and they were all great. Definitely ordering more. Now onto this color review... Beautiful color i made some nice prints. But as stated by others it has an odor it isn't pleasant but manag with some febreze or candles. My main issue is encountered some extruder slipping i was printing on my Prusa Mk3S+, i used the same exact g code with Jessie premium blue ice and the print completed fine so i am unsure why this occurred. I'm willing to give this color another chance because it lays out beautiful and the odor is manageable since my printer is in a room away from common areas.
Looks great, Smells really bad
First and foremost - this prints just as great as you would expect and looks awesome. I've printed dozens of brands and types of PLA, many from jessie's line - and this one is the only one that has a bad smell. You will probably experience a harsh burning/ammonia type odor. I ended up getting headaches and had to leave this printing with the door shut and a fan set up. This is apparently an aspect of the dye being used. I don't want to scare anybody off, i still think this is a very valuable and beautiful color to have on hand, i just plan around printing with it more than usual!
Good filament but disappointed in the color
Billed as neon pink but it's more of a coral. Prints fine with the Prusament PLA settings in PrusaSlicer (215/60), just like all the other PS Jessie colors I've got, but it doesn't scream pink and it doesn't fluoresce under UV light. Same deal with the "safety orange" PLA - so maybe it's something to do with the PLA, but I've got a Monoprice neon yellow PLA that actually glows brightly under UV light. (see the photos) It's still a good pink, but if you're expecting a proper "neon" pink it'll be a bit disappointing.
Everyone Wants Neon Pink
I don't know why but it's the most popular color (other then white). It really has a pastel look to it which I like as well. Very little to no stringing which seems to be a trend for PrintedSolid's lighter colors I've used so far (darker colors seem to string more IDK why). This color is also very forgiving as far as temps and retraction goes but I've settled on a nozzle/bed temp of 200-215/60C. Retraction at 6mm and 40mm/s. This is likely to be the first colored roll I run out of from PS. I plan on getting it again.
I recently purchase a role of the Neon Pink, Tan and Fetta green. Great filament I needed to print at a higher temp than some of the other PLAs I have used in the past on my Ender 5 Pro. Excellent results. The pink does have a distinct odor to it when it prints. I would highly recommend based on my experience.
