Wrong photo, misleading description, generally poor website

hey - printed solid. a tip. If you are saying the words "pre-assembled" hot-end, here is what "pre-assembled" means. It means it comes with all of the parts. that includes the PTFE tube. that also means you have put the ends on the cable. This does not have either of the things. I grabbed this, because I thought "ah, pre-assembled hotend. that means it's pre-assembled. pre-assembled means it has all of the parts. words mean things. also, the tube is in the photo. generally, online retailers take photos of the products they are selling. Thaat means, the product _THEY ARE SELLING_, not _ANOTHER LISTING_". You know what you did? you hid this at the very end of the product listing. that is not where that information goes. If you are selling a product that is incomplete, you should have that right in the product title. it should be very, VERY OBVIOUS. Here's what the product listing should look like: - Move the "Do not use this HotEnd with 12V Prusas such as the MK2 or MK2S as this may damage your printer" to the top of the paragraph, before any product description. You said it yourself, it could damage someone's printer. That is info that belongs on the top, not the bottom. - Next, move "PTFE TUBING IS NOT INCLUDED" to the top, make it large big red text. Change the name of the product from "Preassembled E3D 24V PRUSA V6 Hot End" to "Preassembled E3D 24V PRUSA V6 Hot End (No PTFE tube/heater terminator)". - Finally, look at the photo. You know what's in the photo? It's not the product you're selling on the page here. You have a photo of a fully pre-assembled E3D hotend with the PTFE tube. That is insanely, INCREDIBLY MISLEADING. Go, take a new photo that includes the actual product you are selling on the product page, and replace the photo you have. I'm not going to be forgiving or blame this on myself, because this is clearly a product listing that no one put any effort into, and quite frankly with how poorly put together most of this website is (literally try any part of this website in firefox and you will immediately notice it is broken. The product listing pages are partially broken, the description of jessie filament doesn't come up properly on Firefox once you scroll down on the page, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.) I actually don't think it's fair to say I made a mistake here. I looked at a product listing, and like any regular person - assumed that you took the time to put a photo that was correct, and would not hide important information in the equivalent of fine print. Clearly, I expected too much. Maybe I'd be more forgiving otherwise, but this entire website is a complete mess, and this is far from the first issue I've had with Printed solid. Half of the pages don't work (go open the description page for your filaments in firefox), half of your inventory is CONSTANTLY out of stock, and you can't even put actual - SERIOUSLY IMPORTANT information about a product in the correct place. I don't know what your standards are but they're clearly right on the floor. Do better.

Great product! Glad I Found it

My Prusa Mk3 had broken down for a while. Leaky hot end that I just couldn’t seem to fix and I just wanted a whole new piece. I didn’t want to assemble it and found this one around the same price range as other sites. It came quickly and they even included candy in true printing fashion! The only down side was that I didn’t realize it was missing the electronic piece so I had to order it separate. Everything is up and running!

As expected

Taking out the old hotend was a pain, but this replacement fit right in no problem. Note that it does not come with a ptfe tube, so you need to salvage that or buy a new one.
