Efficient design, bad instructions

Works great at maintaining temperature in the enclosure, also good at keeping the plastic smell inside. Feels flimsy at first until you get everything assembled, then it seems to hold together pretty well. Overall, an efficient use of materials. Only real downside is that the instructions are absolute garbage. I would have got in trouble if I submitted that to a supervisor.

Awesome enclosure!

Relatively easy to put together, fits my MK3S+ nicely (raised with squash balls and a slab). Make sure to search for accessories at Printables/Thangs!

Great Christmas gift!

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our son. He is very pleased with how well it has helped the quality of his printing.

Beautiful, but won't help much with sound

The enclosure is pretty, my parter lets me keep my printer in view of the kitchen now. It also keeps dust off the printer which is nice. I was hoping it would also help with sound, and it does a bit but there's some major exceptions: - When printing PETG or PLA to get the best results you need to open the door, or at least keep it cracked. This lets cooler air in, but also lets sound out - The filament rubs on the top of the enclosure and makes a very loud sound, like a bow string over a violin (only deeper and slower since it's 1.75mm filament) I fixed the second issue by printing my own teflon tube (PTFE) adapter. Here's a link and some instructions: https://www.printables.com/model/217643-ptfe-adapter-for-printed-solid-enclosure I'm also wondering if there's a way to design a sound attenuator like the kind used for HVAC equipment that lets air in, and blocks some sound. I like it, but want it to be better. I would love to see other people's hacks or modifications to the enclosure. Maybe a printed solid subreddit or something. I would love to be able to chat with other people about the case. For instance I see someone mentioning about not feeling comfortable moving it. I moved mine with an 18x18 inch paver inside of it and it was fine. One of the values of buying verus building an enclosure is to have a consistent platform to build off of and discuss. But right now outside of contacting support or leaving a review there's not really any "printed solid" community.
