No machine redesign. Revo™ Prusa Mini is a top choice if you want to update your old Prusa Mini or Mini+ setup to the latest generation of E3D™ HotEnd technology. It has the same nozzle position and filament diameter. All you need to do is undo the four screws that hold the existing HotEnd and reattach the new bracket. Easy-to-follow upgrade instructions can be found here. What’s more, your pre-existing Prusa print profiles remain compatible with no changes necessary.

Ready for Revo™. Revo™ Prusa Mini is designed to work with Revo™ Nozzles, meaning you can perform nozzle swaps with your fingers at room temperature without complex tools or hot tightening. Each Revo™ Nozzle is factory sealed, making it much simpler and more reliable than most HotEnd technology available today.

Enhanced performance. Revo™ Prusa Mini uses a Revo HeaterCore, our latest HotEnd heating and sensing architecture. It reaches temperature much faster than a traditional aluminium heater block, and it’s much safer: a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) means the HeaterCore can’t melt at extreme temperatures, reducing hazards in the event of a thermal runaway.

No firmware or PID changes. Revo™ Prusa Mini was designed to be fully compatible with the stock Prusa Mini firmware – this means there’s no need to modify any firmware. Even more impressive is that it’s fully compatible with the Prusa Mini temperature monitoring model, meaning you don’t need to PID tune after the upgrade!

Please note:

  • You may need to adjust your Z offset when changing nozzles.
  • This kit does not include a fan. The stock Prusa fan should be reused.
  • This kit does not include any PTFE tube. If you require additional PTFE it can be purchased here.

Great hotend! Software support is currently (Aug. 8, 23) lacking

After flashing my i3 mks+ to firmware 3.11 there has been no issue, v. 3.13 still has issues.

Fantastic

I installed this to my MK3S+ Prusa, and its running spot on and the nozzle change is simple. Absolutely fantastic! This is working exactly as advertised. I couldn’t be more impressed.

Buyer Beware

If I reviewed this before I got a nasty blob I’d say this was the single best upgrade I had done for my printer. I would look to optimize my nozzle each print and could really min max my printer times. It really is pretty amazing. It’s super easy to use and the gimmick just works. Unfortunately, I got a pretty nasty blob. When I have had this happen before on a normal v6 (maybe once or twice before over a few years of printing) it was annoying but you could heat it up and remove it. When I did that on the Revo my heater core and nozzle had fused with the PETG that was inside it. It tried my best to clean it but the magic never came back. Ultimately, I reached out to E3D and they basically told me what I already knew and didn’t offer much advice and not offering to replace anything. Mind you think thing was lass than one month old. So at this point I have a hot end that can only be adjusted with tools and at temperature which I’m sure anyone considering this mod knows is simply a v6. I suspect the blob is a known issue that is supposed to be mitigated by the fact that it has both a heater core sock and a nozzle sock. If those don’t stop it I think you’re in for a rough one. I’m sure you could clean it back to new if you were well versed in it but I couldn’t. think I damaged my heater core beyond repair trying to get the pictures that E3D support wanted. The real issue here is E3D has no documentation on this issue and I’ve not found anyone online that seems to have had this problem. So in the meantime I reinstalled the v6 and it works fine just plugging along with a 0.4mm. However, I’m now I’m at the cross roads of where the repair it or give up. It will cost me $60 to get back where I was before the blob. Unfortunately printed solid doesn’t have that heater core in stock even if I want to so difficulty sourcing the part has given me more time to think it over.

Perfect drop-in replacement to V6

The Revo seems to come to temp much faster than the V6, very little Z calibration was needed. I have zero complaints, works perfectly.
