Ready for Revo. Revo Six is designed to work with Revo Nozzles, so you can perform nozzle swaps with your fingers at room temperature without complex tools or hot tightening. Each Revo Nozzle is factory sealed, making it much simpler to use and more reliable than most HotEnd technology available today.
Enhanced performance. Revo Six uses a Revo HeaterCore, our latest HotEnd heating and sensing architecture. It reaches temperature much faster than a traditional aluminium HeaterBlock, and it’s much safer: a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) means the HeaterCore can’t melt at extreme temperatures, reducing hazards in the event of a thermal runaway.
A new look. An anodised black heat sink distinguishes Revo Six from its predecessor, and every unit ships with a premium crystal-clear fan duct so your machine will stand out from the crowd.

I ordered the Revo 6 for my upgraded (Bear) Prusa Mk 2.5s. Rewiring was easy and now replacing the heater/thermistor) is a 60 second job (tho I don't expect this to wear out for a long time). The Revo 6 fit right in. It came with enough PTFE tube to give me a few chances to get a square cut. It's a very short length of tube compared to the V6 because it only goes in a couple centimeters, well above the melt zone. The Revo 6 heats up FAST for 12v 40w. I did two PID tunes to be safe and ran the self leveling test. After minor adjustments to the live z, I printed one of the best Cali Cats I ever have. My only complaint is that the head lead from the Revo 6 is white and the lead for the thermistor is blue. The heat wires from the printer a black and the thermistor wires from the printer are white. They use the same micro connector and it would be very easy to connect white to white and not realize you're crossing the elements. I'm surprised E3D didn't color coordinate.

Been using this hotend for about 3 months as of this review and it's been working flawlessly making shiny and smooth prints after I swapped out the original Prusa hotend on my MK3S since it started leaking on me and didn't want to put up with that later on anymore. This Revo 6 has been a vast improvement. Really like the quick change nozzle system too!
