Printed solid doesn't ship to my location... The item has to go via an international shipping agent at a cost greater than the cost of this item. Fantastic little motor
Works great in a direct drive setup matched with a BMG extruder. Stays cool and has yet to skip any steps. Will definitely be using more in the future.
Runs a little hot
I am using these motors on BMG style extruders and find that even at 800 mA they run a bit hot. I would recommend tuning the current and adding a heat sink.
Strong motor
For me, only 4 stars is because I had to grind in a flat on the shaft. Considering these motors are for 3d printers, driving axes, might as well just include the flat area to engage grub screws. No big deal, I have a Dremel. I used this motor with a BunnyBear BNBSX extruder by BunnyScience. Fits fine, works great. I like the all black finish, even the logo labeling, although in this application you can't see it. I have a low drag spool holder, but regardless, this motor in this application pulls in filament effortlessly. Fortunately, in the extruder build instructions, I only had to flip the plug at the Einsy board to get the correct rotation.
Wire Diagram is Wrong?
Per the comment by Troy P, I experienced the same thing. Perhaps I am just confused but I am fairly certain the wire diagram on the cutsheet is wrong. The schematic on the cut sheet indicates Loop 1 is A-C and Loop 2 as B-D. The diagram shows the pinout a A CB D. (Blk Green Red Blue) Wen connected to a multimeter, the loop is clearly A BC D. So the wires at the motor should be (Blk Red Green Blue)
